Advice on choosing garments and sizes?

With things changing all the time in the garment industry, it’s best to try to choose basic colours if you are planning to have on going orders. Fashion colours can come and go and sometimes can be discontinued from a range.  You may also want to consider your requirements in the future. You may want to add fleeces or polo shirts to you range of garments. By choosing more basic garments gives you greater flexibility.

Our web site gives size charts for each garment. These will include the chest 'to fit' size. General sizes of small, medium, large etc, ladies size 10, 12, etc,  child age 7-8, 9-11 etc, do vary between brands so it is always best to go by the chest measurement given.

The majority of ladies fit garments can be very fitted styles and often quite short in the body. Please remember that personalised garments cannot be returned or exchanged due to incorrect size.

What are your delivery charges?

Carriage is charged at cost to us, and depends on the size of the consignment. The usual charge is £8.95 + v.a.t. for the first box, then £7.00 for each additional box there after. A box can normally hold up to 70 t-shirts. Larger consignments and overseas deliveries will be quoted for at the time of your enquiry.

Ethical T-shirts use TNT Logistics for their deliver service for larger orders and UKmail services for smaller orders. Please be aware that all orders do require a signature to accept delivery.

Wash care and looking after your garments

Always follow the care label in the garment. Washing or tumble drying at too hot a temperature can ruin your garments (and the planet!). If your print has been produced using a plastisol ink or vinyl transfer, remember that this can only be ironed on the reverse of the garment.

Understand that cotton will always shrink. Scientific tests have proven that cotton will shrink  up to 4 percent under normal washing conditions. Tumble drying with additional heat can make cotton garments shrink even more. So bear this in mind.

How do I make payment?

Payment in full is required in advance. Payment instructions are sent along with confirmation sales order and demonstration artwork for approval prior to producing your order. You can either pay by bank transfer (preferred) or we can email you a PayPal request for payment. You can then pay by card using this service (Etees does not store card details)!

We can invoice some organisations such as scout and guide groups and schools, invoice is emailed or posted on despatch of your order and is payable within 14 days.

What if I have a complaint?

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your order, you should notify Ethical Tees either by email or letter within 2 days of receipt of your order. On agreement with Etees, you should then return the order to us. If a fault is found, we will arrange for replacements to be issued and we will refund your costs incurred in returning the order.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Can I see a sample?

We do offer blank un-decorated samples if you require them. We do charge for the cost of the postage. Samples must be returned to us or we will have to bill you for the samples.

Printed samples are charged on a time to produce basis. Unfortunately to produce a sample all of the production parts need to be paid for as you would for the main order. We can however quote you for a sample if you really need one. Most people don’t bother with a sample unless their order is of a high quantity.

We will supply with a print proof via email. This is normally fine for most customers to finalise things off before your order is printed.
